Mayor William Barnes was sworn in on December 9th, 2025. 


The Mayor serves as the Chief Elected Official of the Town. The Mayor is elected, at large, for a 4-year term. The Mayor is the presiding officer of the Grifton Town Council. The Mayor votes to break a tie vote and does not have veto power.
