Grifton Streets Condition Public Input Session – January 31

NOTICE

Grifton Streets Condition

Public Input Session

Recently, the Town of Grifton conducted a Street Assessment Study of all of the Town-maintained streets within its corporate limits.  The purpose of the Study was to rate the condition of each street, making recommendations for the necessary repairs and the cost associated with those repairs.
The Board of Commissioners is interested in placing a financing package before the voters for approval that would complete the repairs at once for the all Town-maintained streets.  The Board is very interested in receiving input from the citizens about the results of the Street Assessment Study and the associated costs for the making the recommended repairs and improvements.
The first Input Session will be held on Tuesday, January 31st, at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall.  The second Input Session will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, at 10:00 AM in the Town Hall.  Both sessions will begin with a brief presentation of the study recommendations followed by a question and answer portion.  The results of the sessions will be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for further consideration.
