Indian Trails

Indian Trails Golf Club , located at 6400 Country Club Drive, was originally built as a nine-hole course in the early 1960′s, with an additional nine holes added in 1980. Since that time, the course has changed owners several times. Eddie Wheeler, the current president and general member of Indian Trails purchased the course with his wife, Debbie, from the Gaskins family in 1997.

The landscape of this course offers a total of 11 par fours four par threes and three par fives. With this being said, skill sets are usually pushed to their limit, with accuracy and straight shots being a priority. Indian Trails is known as a challenging course with doglegs, water hazards, and a few sandtraps. The signature hole is found at the par four 15th, where you can experience a beautiful pond on the green.

As a semi-private course, Indian Trials welcomes new memberships, but the course is readily available for public play. Members enjoy benefits such as exclusive tournament play along with other amenities.

The Grifton Shad Festival holds a tournament annually, while the course has also been a host to the Cody Blue Foundation Charity Golf Tournament since its commencement. The CBF tournament had 31 teams in 2009, causing it to be a sellout.
